CEM I 42,5N SR5 (Sulphate Resistant)

A Portland cement for concrete production in aggressive environment, when high percentage of sulphates is occurred. 

CEM I 42,5N SR5 is based on Portland special clinker ground with gypsum. Its strength class is 42,5. CEM I 42,5N SR5 is certified from independent body with CE mark.



Concrete suitable for applications in aggressive environments (sulphate).


Reference should be made to the Greek Concrete Norm KΤS 97.

Trial mixes are recommended to determine the optimum mix proportions.



CEM I 42,5N SR5 is available in bulk.



This product in bulk should be stored in sealed silo.


Conditions of use

To achieve optimum performance from CEM I 42,5N SR5 in concrete or other products, it is essential that it is correctly used.

As with other cements in building work, there is no substitute for good practice and workmanship. It is essential to use the correct materials, proportion and mix the materials properly, add the correct amount of water, compact, cure and protect as appropriate. When using CEM I 42,5N SR5 cement, it is particularly important to ensure that effective curing is applied.

Normal hot and cold weather practice should also be followed.

The final finish quality of this material will depend upon the operative having the required skills and a familiarity with the material and its application methods.
