Cement plants

Heracles production structure comprises cement production by the Volos and Milaki plants, leveraging their competencies and their port facilities, to serve the domestic market and to enhance the company's export presence in the wider Mediterranean region.

Volos Plant

Volos plant is Heracles's biggest cement plant and one of the most important units of Lafarge, with a cement production capacity of more than 4.5 million tons per year. Located 4 kilometres away from the city of Volos, its history dates back to 1924. The plant's proximity with the city calls for great sensitivity regarding environmental protection and respect for the local communities.
