Ioannis Nanis is an experienced Human Resources executive with an extensive international track record in leadership roles, having managed complex organizations and operational functions within multinational environments and highly demanding, strictly regulated sectors. He possesses broad expertise in designing and implementing HR strategies that drive business transformation, organizational development, talent management, leadership development, and the creation of high-performance work cultures.
His professional career spans the Pharmaceutical, Automotive, and Energy sectors, where he held key leadership roles overseeing organizational design, employee relations, change management, and international business unit support.
Prior to joining HERACLES Group, a member of Holcim, he served as HR Lead for Global Manufacturing & Procurement at Kenvue (formerly Johnson & Johnson's Consumer Health division). In this role, he held overall responsibility for the HR strategy covering more than 8,000 employees (FTEs) across manufacturing sites and operations worldwide, working closely with senior leadership to enhance organizational effectiveness, foster talent development, and support business growth in a highly demanding global environment.
Previously, he was the HR Lead for Supply Chain & Manufacturing in the EMEA region, supporting an extensive network of production facilities and supply chain operations across multiple countries. His journey at Johnson & Johnson began as HR Manager for the company's plant in Mandra, Attica, after which he progressively stepped into roles of increasing responsibility, leading cross-border teams and strategic HR initiatives both in Greece and internationally.
Throughout his career, he has built significant expertise in managing organizational transformations, developing leadership teams, overseeing labor relations, and shaping modern HR practices that align with business objectives and drive sustainable organizational growth.
He holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management and firmly believes that people are the most critical success factor in any organization when operating within an environment of trust, collaboration, and continuous development.
In his personal life, he is married and the father of two daughters.
