Our commitment to free competition
At HERACLES Group of Companies we believe and promote fair competition, as it allows us to provide our customers with the best products under the most favourable conditions. Therefore, the success in our business goes hand in hand with adhering to the rules of competition.
Holding a leading role in the Greek market and given the specificities of the industry, the risks arising from free competition are addressed through the “Program for Compliance with the Competition Legislation” of HERACLES Group, which was instituted in 2007. The implementation of this program includes legal guidance, reporting and compliance inspection tools, as well as training provided under the supervision of the Legal Department.
The Executive Committee of HERACLES Group ensures that employees, whose level of exposure to the hereinabove risks is high or moderate, attend training seminars and are trained through online programs on the Group’s compliance with the law on competition, under the supervision of the Legal Department. Every new employee who meets the above requirements must attend this training, in order to ensure that all our people are kept up to date with compliance rules and competition law. Within the context of our commitment to not limiting ourselves to just complying with the law, the Legal Department organises seminars with the sales department to keep them informed of best practices in line with the latest policy developments.
