HERACLES Group has a dynamic presence in Greece with production, distribution and mining facilities.

Our priority is to be the preferred partner of our customers, while contributing to the sustainable development of Greece.

We operate two cement production plants in Volos and Milaki, Evia and utilize their port facilities to serve the domestic market, while at the same time enhance the country’s export activity in the broader Mediterranean region.

In addition, HERACLES Group has active quarries and mines throughout Greece, always operating with respect to the environment and consistently pursuing sustainable development.

At the same time, HERACLES Group ensures the immediate and timely supply of the building material market due to the extensive distribution network it has throughout the country.

Volos Plant

HERACLES G.C.C. plant in Volos is the largest cement production plant of the Group and one of the most significant Holcim plants. It produces 7 types of cement, clinker, solid fuels and aggregates that the Group offers to both domestic and international markets.

HERACLES G.C.C. plant in Milaki was established in 1982 and is the most modern cement production plant of HERACLES Group. Its vertically integrated structure combined with its geographical location, make the plant crucial for our export activity.

Quarries

HERACLES Group owns eleven active quarries that serve the extraction of raw materials for our plants. Moreover, through our subsidiary company LAVA, we manage three quarries of industrial minerals (pumice, gypsum and pozzolan).
