HERACLES Group: Riviera Tower is built
with ultimate performance DYNAMax concrete

HERACLES Group, a pioneer in the field of sustainable building materials, is taking part in the construction of the iconic Riviera Tower, developed within The Ellinikon project, with its ultimate performance DYNAMax concrete series used for the first time in Greece.

Specifically, HERACLES Group has supplied to date over 7,000 m³ of DYNAMax concrete, C70/85 compressive strength class, for the construction of the Riviera Tower.

DYNAMax concrete is used in all vertically reinforced structural elements that support the superstructure, as well as in horizontal reinforced beams.

The Riviera Tower, the first “green” residential skyscraper in Greece and one of the greenest in Europe, is intended to be a sustainability landmark in Greece. As part of its environmental strategy, HERACLES Group is adapting the DYNAMax concrete formula, thus achieving an impressive 25% reduction in its environmental footprint. This improvement was achieved through the development and use of low carbon footprint ECOPlanet cements, such as CEM III/B 42.5N SR and CEM II/A-L 42.5R, in accordance with the respective Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), boosting considerably the sustainability of the project.

DYNAMax product series stands out for its sustainability and its ultra-high strength thanks to its elastic modulus > 40 GPa and chloride ion penetration resistance < 750 Cb (ASTM C1202). Thus, DYNAMax products are the ideal and preferred choice for the construction of projects such as the Riviera Tower, while requiring significantly reduced maintenance over the lifetime of the building.

In line with the principle of “Building better with less”, HERACLES Group reaffirms its commitment to innovation and sustainability in the construction industry through the DYNAMax series, offering solutions that promote sustainability and green growth.
