HERACLES Group awards scholarships of excellence to support young engineers
 

Firmly committed to bolstering education and supporting young generation engineers, HERACLES Group awarded three scholarships of excellence to postgraduate students of the “Analysis and Management of Energy Systems - AMES” program of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Thessaly, in the academic year 2023-2024.

The scholarships award ceremony was held on February 12 at the Volos Plant of HERACLES Group and was attended by professors and students of the University of Thessaly, as well as Group employees.

Recognizing the importance of innovation and the pursuit of excellence as a key quality for the future of students, HERACLES Group has always supported young scientists who set high goals and work for a sustainable future, demonstrating in practice its commitment to “Building Progress Together for People and the Planet”.

This initiative is part of the Group’s strategy to support the new generation of engineers, while also marking its long-term and substantial cooperation with the University of Thessaly with multiple benefits for both students and the local community, contributing to the shaping of a sustainable future.

The event was addressed by Mr. Konstantinos Ritos, Assistant Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Director of the AMES postgraduate program. Mr. Ritos thanked HERACLES Group for its practical support to the program and congratulated the students who were received a scholarship. The event was also attended by Professors Spyros Karamanos, Alexis Kermanidis and Emmanouil Bouzakis, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
