Agreement between HELLINIKON S.A. and Lafarge Beton, a member of HERACLES Group

Lafarge Beton, a member of HERACLES Group, will install and operate a ready-mix concrete plant, with a capacity of 130m3/h. The plant will serve the needs of the project delivering high quality, low-carbon concrete.

Caring for the environment is at the core of both companies’ activities, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of environmental protection. The new plant meets the requirements of European and international standards and has an energy and water saving system in place. The new plant has the potential to deliver innovative concrete, such as Special Architectural Concrete (Agilia, Hydromedia, Artevia, Ultra), as well as the new green range of low carbon ECOPact concrete, which adds value to sustainable construction. As part of its green strategy, HERACLES Group has Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), both for the Concrete Activity as well as all the cement types manufactured in its plants.
