The Emergency Department of the Palamas Health Centre reopens with the support of HERACLES Group
HERACLES Group joins forces with “Together for Children” to donate the necessary medical equipment for the medical facility to resume operation.
In an atmosphere of joy and emotion, the Palamas Health Centre opened on Monday, September 2. The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis, the President of “Together for Children” Alexandra Martinou, the paediatrician and Vice President of “Together for Children” Ioannis Papadatos, representatives of the Municipality, local bodies and organizations.
True to its commitment to contribute substantially to the real needs of local communities where it operates, HERACLES Group sponsored the reopening of the Palamas Health Centre Emergency Department in Thessaly, in collaboration with “Together for Children”.
Specifically, HERACLES Group participated in an initiative of “Together for Children” to raise the necessary medical equipment, so that the medical facility could resume its operation after the severe damages it suffered from the devastating floods that hit Thessaly a year ago.
On this, Ms Evi Ioannidou, Communication Director of HERACLES Group stated the following: “Thessaly is our second home for all of us in HERACLES Group. It has been hosting our facilities and has been home to our largest production plant in Volos for over 100 years. This donation is yet another action in support of the region aimed to restore normalcy. We stand by the local residents in cooperation with “Together for Children”, with respect for people and in hope of a more sustainable future for everyone.”
