HERACLES Group continues the energy upgrade of its fleet introduction the first e-cement trucks

HERACLES Group is taking another firm step towards a climate-neutral economy, in full alignment with its national strategy for e-mobility and environmental footprint minimisation. In this context, it announces the introduction of the first two electric cement trucks in our country, enhancing sustainable development and the transition to a “greener industry”.

This initiative is part of the Group’s “Green Growth Acceleration” strategy aimed at reducing CO₂ emissions with a special focus on Scope 3 emissions, which are associated with the entire supply and value chain. By gradually replacing the product transport fleet with electric, environmentally-friendly vehicles, HERACLES Group is accelerating the transition towards a more sustainable industry.

With the addition of these new heavy-duty EVs to the company's modern anti-pollution technology fleet, HERACLES Group continues to drive developments and invest consistently in people, society and the environment. The benefits of EVs are multiple, as they contribute to the decline in fossil fuel use and CO2 emissions, while also helping reduce noise pollution and thus improving the quality of life of residents.

Kostas Liaskas, Exports & Supply Chain Director, stated: “At HERACLES Group we remain true to our Strategy on green growth in the context of the global mission for net zero by 2050. The gradual replacement of cement trucks with fully electric vehicles is another major step towards accelerating our green transformation and building a more resilient and sustainable industry, with respect for people and the planet.”
