Paros Airport

With the contribution of Lafarge’s over 7,000 m3 of highly durable concrete for coastal environments, the new Airport that the local community of Paros sought to build for 20 years, became a reality.

The project concerns to the new landing and take-off runway with a total length of 2,000 metres and an operational length of 1,400 metres, as well as the completion of the building installations for the new airport with the prospect to their expansion.

It is worth noting that we proceeded with the donation of 200 cubic meters of concrete, thus HERACLES Group became the Official Sponsor of the Airport.

The new Paros Airport has now the capacity to accept larger aircrafts serving international flights, quadrupling the annual number of passengers arriving on the island.
